Julian was an engaging and challenging teacher with fantastic life experiences used thoughtfully in application theoretical scenarios used in class. He found original ways to get us out of the classroom and into the field to learn more about the engineering behind relief work. Julian took a personal approach to teaching which benefited everyone in the group.
